Ernest Hemingway once said of Paris: "Wherever you go for the rest of your life, it stays with you, because Paris is a moving feast."
Although it is no longer considered one of the main places for artistic creation, the charm of Paris has never disappeared. The city that is home to artists remains enrapturing and shrouded in mystery.
Hi, I'm Maren and I'm taking you to the city of love!
It's time for a change of air. The suitcase is packed: camera, jeans, sneakers, T-shirts, chic shoes, elegant dress, rain jacket, toiletry bag - it's all there! But what must not be missing at all is my MRSÉY mobile phone chain. My chic companion is always with me on my city trips!

Through the picturesque streets of Paris

Paris is not only known for its many sights: The dreamy alleys with the many cafés and the smell of fresh pastries lend a special magic to the city on the Seine.
One of my favourite districts of the city is undoubtedly Montmartre. The main attractions of the district are the artists' square Place du Tertre and the Sacré-Coeur basilica. Here I can drift for hours and be enchanted by the unique charm.
The Sacré-Coeur de Montmartre pilgrimage church has been enthroned at the very top of Montmartre since 1914. On the one hand, it is the incomparable location, and on the other, the radiant white of the basilica with its five dome shapes that attracts attention. The Sacré-Cœur owes its radiant whiteness to the special limestone, which releases calcite due to the weather conditions and thus takes on a special whiteness over time. In the sun, the church literally shines. From up here you have a magnificent view of the whole of Paris. If you want to avoid the stairs (237 steps), you can take the cable car to the top.

In the cosy café

With a heart full of impressions, I now head for the Seine. On the way there, I got a little hungry. So I walked through the picturesque alleys of Paris and became aware of this café, which is quite lovingly run. It is called "La Bossue" and is located about 500 metres from Montmartre. Although I hadn't made a reservation, I was lucky to get a table. I felt at home in this cosy atmosphere. You can choose between two starters and two desserts. Great cakes, muffins, brioche - everything looks first-class and is freshly prepared, tastes delicious and the homemade cinnamon buns are awesome! Clearly invigorated, I set off on my way.

The Navigation on the Seine
If there's one thing that can't be missed in Paris, it's a boat trip on the Seine. The most noteworthy sights of the city pass before the delighted eyes of the passengers: from Notre Dame to the Eiffel Tower. I chose one of the famous Bateaux-Mouches boats. If you want, you can indulge in a traditional French dish on the boat. To capture the magic of the night lights, I took the trip in the evening and I am overwhelmed. An impressive experience!

The Louvre

I saved the Louvre for the next day. Once you've arrived in Paris, there's no getting around the world's largest museum. It is well known that the queues in Paris are extremely long. That's why I booked a ticket online, marked the areas that were important to me on the info sheet, put on my handy iPhone mobile phone chain and went into the huge area. It is fascinating: the architecture of the museum with the glass pyramid that serves as the entrance, the many statues and, of course, the impressive works that can be admired here. But what amazed me was the "Mona Lisa" smiling so meekly. I imagined her much bigger. The Wedding at Cana" aroused great admiration in me. There are 130 people in this masterpiece and each of these figures is unique.

Enjoy like God in France

The extensive cultural programme whetted my appetite. After intensive research and subsequent reservation, I decided on the extravagant "La Fidélité". I dressed up and went to the bistro. It is located just a few steps from the Gare de l'Est. From the outside, the restaurant is alluring with its green and pink neon lights. I was overwhelmed by the interior of the "Fidélité": breathtaking chandeliers, ornate columns, a piano under palm trees and an art nouveau staircase that leads to the upper room, which can be rented for private purposes. Everything seems so warm and cosy.
The "Fidélité" offers an irresistible selection of dishes and drinks. I opted for the "Gatsby" cocktail and the risotto. A real treat! But the highlight was the dessert: A chocolate cake made of tonka beans that made you forget everything else. I felt like God in France!

With MRSÉY in a shopper's paradise

My hunger is satisfied, my cultural education expanded and now I have reserved my last day for shopping. As a fashion capital, Paris is home to an enormous number of prestigious boutiques.
In the heart of the hip "Rue Montorgueil" district, "Kiliwatch" is a regional temple for all fans of vintage fashion. Here you can find charming and inexpensive designer pieces, especially during the sales. I like the mix of new and old and the variety. If you're a bookworm like me, interested in fashion, you'll find a nice selection of books on fashion and art. Used and new accessories, shoes, different kinds of tea and much more.
My next stop is "MERCI" in the famous trendy district "Le Marais" . A designer fashion shop that covers three floors and offers everything from beauty to fashion to household items. I could spend the whole day here! Especially because of the great book café. After shopping, take a break with a delicious cappuccino and a book in hand - what more could you want?
The last stop is Balmain. Just have a sniff at the place where stars get dressed. The shop is located near the famous Champs Élysées and is known for its extravagant fashion.

The farewell is hard

To round off the great day, I go to Notre-Dame and find a Lebanese restaurant in the immediate vicinity. With a view of the cathedral, I treat myself to various Lebanese delicacies. I drink a glass of red wine with them and am just happy. A nice lady at the next table keeps looking at me and eventually asks where I got this great Mobile phone chain have. Since the material of the iPhone Mobile phone chain vegan leather I am proud to present my stylish companion to her. The lady is impressed. And so am I. By Paris, its people, culture, fashion and delicious food.

I would like to tell you an insider tip: Want a great photo with the Eiffel Tower in the background? Then you should go to the Avenue "de Camoëns". It is located in the 16th arrondissement and is surrounded by stylish Parisian flats.

Paris has a lot to offer. These were just a few of my tips and impressions of the French fashion metropolis. I hope you enjoyed it and that I was able to bring you a little closer to the city of love.
